Although I compose music for many different idioms and instruments, composing for band has always been very special to me. This medium in particular allows me a place to explore and to invent new music for winds and percussion players in a large ensemble setting. I've been rather fortunate to be commissioned regularly by bands of all different sizes and ability levels ranging from middle school band to professional and collegiate ensembles. Since 2007 I've composed over a dozen different pieces, all of which intend to discover new sound worlds, structures and concepts. 

In addition to original compositions for the band, I have several arrangements and transcriptions which are also listed in my catalog.
