Youngstown State University (Composer-in-Residence, October 2014)

Gave lectures on music and composition, lessons for student composers, and performances of 'Light up the Night' by the Dana Symphony and 'Up' by the YSU Wind Ensemble, both under the direction of Dr. Stephen L. Gage. 

"I had the privilege of hosting composer, Anthony O'Toole, on the Youngstown State University campus for a three day residency. During this time he provided great insights into the compositions being rehearsed by our symphony orchestra and wind ensemble. His exceptional talent and intellect were omnipresent in all of his sessions, and he was a fabulous resource for our students. I am a tremendous fan of Anthony and of his music and am certain that he will continue to rise as one of the nation's most talented composers and clinicians. On the heels of our time together, I have taken his music 'on the road' with our wind ensemble and with various regional and state honor bands!"
