This was composed for fun on my birthday (May 20, 2021) and it's kind of become a little tradition for me to tell myself I won't write on my birthday and then do anyways. I usually try to play around with the Birthday Song in some ways. A fun fact about me is that when I'm just doing contrapuntal exercises or other compositional doodles I naturally just default to the String Quartet as the instrumentation and sound pallet. 4 voices but the possibility for multiple notes and changes of timbre if needed, while still being a homogenous choir or instruments.
